Fljóta-Píla

We have an Icelandic Sheepdog, a real farm dog, as we live on a big horse farm. Fljóta-Píla lives a dream life, frolicking with one of us all day, there's always someone home, often doing something outside. So it's a lot of fun for her, and she is so sweet, the happiest dog in the world.

But, the shepherd life often comes with muddy paws, and she's not allowed in the house, instead she stays in the spacious laundry room where she is at night, but open directly into the kitchen.

But, after a few years of living in the laundry room something came up about her. The doors were open to the laundry room, as usual. It was 2 am, and our teenager boy was rumbling around late at night in the living room. Suddenly, little Píla appeared to explore and enjoy herself in the living room. What a shock when she saw the boy! She jumped up, ran into the laundry room, and sat there as if saying, "What? I never went anywhere." We suspected her of having done this often when everyone was asleep. I always thought that some dog hair had just drifted in with some breeze or socks.

In the little sweetheart Píla lives in other words a little prankster. "Then rarely does one lift themselves up". In the picture there is a "totally innocent" Píla where she seems to have never left her place in the laundry room. We absolutely love her to bits; she is the best dog in the world for us! Addendum in January 2024: Píla, indeed, melted us and has become a living room couch dog.
