In December 2022, I was informed that my project, The National Dog of Iceland, would be granted a subsidy from the development fund of Northwest Iceland up to 1.6 million ISK.
I am very grateful for this, as the grant enables me to work on the project and preparations started immediately in January 2023.
Ahead is research work, working on the project's website, marketing actions, writing texts, and collecting stories and photographs about and from Icelandic sheep dogs.
I will use this year to prepare for the exhibition and aim to open it in the summer of 2024.
